The film producers from Hollywood are finally tired with the awkward nature of actress Robin Wright, so they make her an offer she can?t refuse. No, not the horse?s head. Thanks to new brilliant technology they are able to scan her whole body, mimics, voice and personality, so from that point she won?t be needed to take parts in the movies - her digital copy will do everything the producers want. She has many doubts, but her agent Al tries to convince her that it is her last chance to make some money on her dying career. Wright has son Aaron, who suffers from a disorder that is slowly destroying his sight and hearing. By signing that deal she would have income and could spend time with her family. She accepts the offer, but years later while she attends a Congress she learns that what started with that technology changed into something they never imagined - animated world in which everything is possible.
Very unusual film that is mixture of traditional movie and animated scenes that describe the different worlds in which the people are able to exist. Partly based on Stanislaw Lem short story it is almost philosophical journey into ourselves - how we see the world and how far will we let other people force us to see the world through their eyes. It isn?t an easy to fully understand the message of the film, but definately worth to know and give it a try.
