27 years (10,000 days) after Comet 23 struck the Earth and pushed the planet on new orbit, further away from the sun, and thus triggered new ice age, four families that survived in the Rocky Mountains, Colorado have split into two rival clans. Becks and Farnwells are fighting for what is left of the resources and survival in world covered with ice means destroying any competition for food. One day Becks find a young boy near their settlement, who came from north, where Farnwells live, but he was chased by one of their clan members. Becks take care of the boy, but do not understand what to do next - he came from the side of their enemies, but at the same time Farnwell wanted him dead. While checking the area where he was found Becks finds an airplane that crashed in the mountains and now, after some trembles became visible inside a cave. Soon they discover that it is actually Air Force One and it seems almost in tact. When they break inside they find bodies of all passengers, but also all the equipment needed to use the nuclear weapons of United States. They begin to wonder if it can help them change their future...
Simple post-apocalyptic scifi movie depending heavily on CGI, but the creator did not spent much time on the script itself, so the final effect is rather abysmal - some not very impressive landscapes of ice age in Rocky Mountains, rather weak plot and single-dimensional characters. In a concept it was not that bad idea, but the whole film was way too simple to become successful.
