Dave Torres, a nightwatchman for a tech company, receives a weird message from his ex-girlfriend, Katie. After two years of relationship she just vanished of his life and cut all the contacts with him, now she just called him out of the sudden. She explains that it was due to his behaviour, especially the condition that he is suffering from most of his life, which made her not feeling safe with him. Since childhood he is plagued by disturbing dreams that brought a violent behaviour in him, which he cannot control or fully explain. But that unexpected contact with Katie was just a beginning of a surprises that night. Dave and his co-worker Matteo, find a van in the parking lot outside of the office building they are guarding. Inside, a weird acting man tries to get some money out of them, before they realize that he holds some woman hostage in the back of the van. Before they are able to do something about it, the man flees in his van. Dave drives to a party Katie told him she will attend, but instead of her, he finds a friend of his unconscious on the floor. With a help of a drug dealer that was there, he takes his friend to a hospital, where he learns the hard truth - a lot of people, who fell asleep that night, never woke up.

A podcast series about mysterious circumstances, in which most of the people in the world died once they fell asleep. The premise was interesting, the beginning was intriguing, but after the reality was established, the main plot just for muddled into a series of retrospection scenes that delve into the past of Dave. The end of first season was ambiguous and disappointing, so far there are no news about further seasons being produced, even though a TV adaptation of the podcast was produced. Overall a lost opportunity to build something interesting - the mystery is there, but the plot quickly runs out of steam.
