End of the civilization in the unnamed desert part of the world was sudden - warring groups have started the war that ended in destroying all that had any value for the people. At the end one of those groups have poisoned the waters, which was the beginning of the end. The survivors lead by Shuaib have hidden inside demolished old factory buildings. They have the access to one of the last sources of clear water in the area, so they have to fight off the intruders trying to take over their shelter. One night a young girl approaches their gates. While the survivors suspect it is a trap Shuaib leaves the shelter to make sure she is healthy, so he could save her. It is a trap and while the intruder tries to trade the girl or ammo for water Shuaib tries to save the girl. Intruder kills the girl and his companions attack the gate. With help from a stranger that kills one of the intruders Shuaib survives and the attack is repelled. The stranger tells them he was just passing by and was not part of the gang that attacked them. Together with a young woman, who does not speak local language they were travelling through the area looking for some shelter from bandits. Shuaib agrees to let them inside their compound...

Sci fi drama made by creators and cast from different parts of Middle East - from United Arab Emirates to Syria - shows the post-apocalyptic reality, but in different way than could have been expected. The apocalypse wasn’t a worldwide cataclysm, but the result of something that they know too well - war. In the world, where you can’t trust anyone the survivors show a good faith in strange pair of wanderers, but this will change their lives and not in a good way. A very original film that is definitely worth to know.
