After the unknown cataclysm kills all the animals and destroys all the plants the human kind is on a verge of extinction. In this empty and gloomy world father and son are travelling towards the sea hoping to find even slightly better living conditions. They search for food in deserted shops and houses, they try to avoid the main roads since gangs of canibals are looking for such prey as them. With single gun in hand and two bullets the father is hoping to find the way for his son to survive.

Post-apocalyptic United States shown just like in other similiar movies - when the animals are dead human kind became the only predator. With limited food supply and no hope for finding new sources of food the survivors became distrustful and hostile. Very moving story and powerful image of the world destroyed by cataclysm.
