Last survivors of climate change experiment, that put Earth in another ice age, are forced in underground colonies that are the remains of old factories or mines. The biggest problems are diseases - even the common cold can wipeout the entire colony, so very strict rules are applied to anyone who shows any symptoms. The final solution is killing the infected people so the rest can survive. One day people from Colony 7 are receiving the distract signal from nearby Colony 5. The message without any details is intruiging and after deliberations they decide to send small rescue mission. Three men set out into cold desert to reach Colony 5 and find out what happened. Upon arrival they find the break in the outer wall and blood stains.

Sci fi movie set in year 2045 when global warming pushed the scientists to finding a solution. They came up with weather towers that would be able to locally modify the climate. Unfortunately this experiment ended up in Earth covered entirely by snow and ice. The distract call from nearby colony is the beginning of chain of changes that will affect the survivors. Interesting plot and reality, but since the emphasis were put on completely wrong elements of the story, and some details of the plot make no sense, the final effect is average at best.
