War broke out in this Moldova and American forces are entangled in the conflict on the streets of Chisinau, the capitol city. The buildings are in ruins, the rebels are attacking the convoys, but something else begins to worry General Orland. He brings a chief engineer from Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, Dr. Mark Clyne, to show him the footage from several hyperspectral goggles his soldiers are using in the combat zone. The footage shows slightly glowing human-like figures in different parts of the city and in different conditions. Orland hopes it is just malfunction of the goggles, hence the visit of Clyne, but Clyne, who was taking part in designing the equipment has no doubts that this is not malfunction. But rest of the story is more dramatic - those soldiers, who approached the glowing figures died attacked by them with their inner organs frozen and skins burnt. Clyne has no other option than investigate the strange phenomena.

American sci-fi movie set in future during fictitious Moldovan War - engineer, who prepares new equipment for special forces is puzzled by the strange phenomena the hyperspectral goggles have been recording recently. The film is packed with action scenes done with decent quality and has elements of hard sci-fi, but also story has some weak points, f.e. the spectral figures can jump from the buildings and run through walls, but at the same time things lying on the ground are suddenly a impregnable border for them. In general it is a decent adventure sci-fi film, but could have been better.
