In 1957 Soviet Union drops the nuclear bomb on United States and later invades the territory. The only place that is still free is called Lost Vegas, where Elvis Presley is crowned as king. But 40 years later teh king is dead, so there has to be another man, who will lead the free Americans. There are only two erquirements - he has to be great warrior and hell of a guitar player. Among the candidates there is Death himself, which pays visits to other potential kings and kills them. It seems that unusual Buddy, who wears funny glasses and suit, might be the perfect candidate. His samurai sword says so...
Very original film that is hard to place in any category - it is comedy, there is some music, fight scenes, science fiction elements, martial arts scenes and... a lot of really, really weird stuff. But overall it is strangely entertaining production. Of course it can?t compete with Hollywood blockbusters, but it doesn?t seem that this was the goal of creators. To put in nutshell I?m sure you haven?t seen anything like it, plus soundtrack that is tribute to 1960s.
