Cadet Thomas Lasky joins the prestigious Corbulo Academy of Military Science, where he will be trained to join in future the United Nations Space Command. UNSC fights the Covenant, the alien species, during the colonization of the planets. Here in Corbulo Academy Lasky is assigned to Hastati squad and from the beginning he learns that he has to count on himself alone. During the training he fails to follow the orders and gets in trouble with other teammembers. Other freshman, Chyler Silva, is the only person that shows him any sympathy and encouragement. But his problems are about to come to an end when suddenly the academy is attacked by the forces of Covenant.

TV miniseries (sometimes presented together as a movie) based on the computer games from Halo franchise. The plot lack originality (in practice it is Ender?s Game retold in Halo reality), the characters lack the... any signs of character, the whole project was designed to promote the games, but to be honest seems like been written by children for children. Waste of time and effort.
