In totalitarian state revolution breaks out and the streets of the cities are ruled by violence and chaos. The selected government officials were given the keycards to use in such emergency. The unmarked and sealed train crosses the city and holders of such keycards can enter it. One of such keycard holders is shot dead on the doorstep of the train, so young woman Clara uses his keycard to get away from the dangers of revolution. The train automatically takes her to the luxury Palace Hotel, in fact to the hidden train station beneath the hotel. Here she can try to access the bunker prepared for the officials. She manages to trick the android guarding the door to let her inside, where she meets other holders of the keycards - members of the government and main scientist of the country, Holm, who built all the androids that are serving the inhabitants of the bunker. When they notice that the president himself is not present they begin to wonder what happened to him and what should they do next or even how they will be able to leave the bunker.
French sci fi movie presenting something that during the Cold War wasn?t science fiction - the bunkers, where the government should be able to survive even if atomic holocaust would ruin the whole country. Inside we see people, who seem to forget that there is revolution outside and their main topics are still the high society gossip and their main activity just looking for some way to spend the time. Interesting look at the society in moral ruins.
