The mighty corporations made use of all the natural resources in the Thrice Burned Lands, leaving nothing but the vast wastelands. Their armies of white-collar thugs are keeping them safe inside the cities, while people are struggling to survive in the deserts. Only the bounty hunters are able to reach the heads of the corporations and kill them for what they did to the land. Two of them, famous Drifter and extravagant Mary Death, arrive to city of San Dalloosa, or rather what is left of it, to collect on their latest assignments. Drifter learns that death warrant has been issued after someone he knows, Snaggletooth Harry. Mary Death is intrigued by the fact that Drifter seems to be distraught by that fact and tries to learn the reason behind it. Later the Drifter picks clumsy Jack LeMans as his new gunman, someone responsible for reloading and passing the right weapon to the bounty killer. At the same time Mary?s car break down in the middle of nowhere and she is approached by two sleazy looking men. She kills them in self-defence and gets through their car. Inside she finds the death warrant for Francis Gorman, owner of the Gorman company, but the photo attached to it is of... Drifter.
Post-apocalyptic-like sci-fi film based on the graphic novel Bounty Killer offers a lot of elements present in almost any modern era superhero-riddled cinema: wastelands, main characters resembling pretty much any modern era sci-fi (like Mad Max or Guardians of the Galaxy just to name two). And unfortunately this is the whole story - lacks originality, lacks interesting story, lacks any depth. There were some elements that suggest the creators tried to add some humour to the whole project, but most of them were rather poor and the whole film is completely forgettable.
