Officially computer programmer Thomas Anderson, unofficially hacker known as Neo, is contacted by mysterious Morpheus, who can explain to him what is the Matrix - strange cryptic phrase that Neo has stumbled upon in the past. Neo is intrigued and anxious to meet Morpheus, but suddenly three men in dark suits are looking for him. With help of Morpheus Neo is able to run away from them, but the is about to learn will be a shock for him.
Scifi movie legendary for use of many impressive special effects that later became almost icons of modern sci fi movies. The plot is interesting, the visual side of the movie is great, but overall it was just average sci fi movie. Matrix was very influential, very impressive and easily recognizable movie, but the plot is rather simple and parts of the film seemed to be made just to show the CGI technology without any deeper meenings.
