After the retirement of Agent K, Agent J becomes a top operative in Men in Black, the secret agency that deals with all the aliens that live on Earth. His new case involves a alien-on-alien murder in small pizzeria, which seems like simple case of shady deals gone bad, but when he gets statement from eyewitness, human waitress, he realizes that the investigations is gonna be more demanding that he expected - the shapeshifting Kylothian Queen seems to be involved and she already has few destroyed planets on her conscience. Since the retirement of Agent K he tried several new partners, but none of them seemed to suit him and now with a big case in hands he realizes that he will need help of really experienced partner. Agent J finds the location of Agent K, who now is a postmaster in Truro, Massachusetts.

Second film from Men in Black series offers the new set of aliens that the main characters have to deal with while saving Earth from total destruction. Of course, as it is with most sequels, the premise is not fresh, the characters don’t seem to have much to add, the plot is slightly different, but not very impressive, the special effects are not surprising anymore. Overall Men in Black II is just copy of the original movie with very little new elements.
