James Edwards from New York Police Department is invited to unusual recruitment - in unmarked buidling he is among top candidates from different services from army and navy to special forces and airforce. They are put to unusual tests that are preparing them for work in quite unusual formation - Men in Black - the secret agency that is responsible for keeping peace on Earth. Well, more like peace among the aliens that live here or just visit their friends. Yes, aliens, like from outer space, if will cause any trouble will have the Men In Black on their backs and can be deported back to the planet they came from. Special agents are in constant alert and check on the aliens, who in human form, are often taking care of some shady deals. Edwards becomes new partner of Agent K just in time to deal with the case of an alien, who took over body of a farmer and is about to start the war among the different alien species on Earth.

Film based on Men in Black comic books, which were inspired by urban legend of men in black coats that were supposedly visiting the witnesses that saw UFOs or had any contact with aliens. While the idea was good, the special effects were quite impressive, some of the humour bits were rather corny. But as a simple entertainment it is fun to watch, although it is hard to compare this film to sci fi classics.
