During the ongoing research of development of the children around the world UNESCO scientists locate six unusual cases - six children from different countries that stand out from other kids. British psychologist looks into a case of such child from London. Paul seems very mature for his age, he is very quiet and keeps to himself. His mother Diana says there is something wrong, she is not married and wasn’t with a man before Paul was born, but the psychologist thinks it’s just some sort of hysteria. But when similiar children from Nigeria, Soviet Union, China, India and United States are brought to London it becomes clear they all have supernatural skills. Not only they are more intelligent than other children, but also they have skills of telepathy and each of them knows everything the other five knows. Scientists try to find the source of their skills, but the children has also the power to influence other people’s minds and force them to do things. The six decide to leave the labs and move into derelict church, but the governments of the countries they came from try to kidnap them or use them for spying or even as weapon.

Sequel to classic sci-fi movie "Village of the Damned" shows different side of the same phenomena - the children that suddenly gain supernatural powers to influence people and the environment around them. First movie concentrated on the shock that the children caused among the people of small village, in Children of Damned we see what danger of such events would be not only on the children, but what dark powers they would raise in other people. Comparing to original it lacks the freshness and the element of mystery - like most of the sequels it tries to define the background of the phenomena and misses all the elements that made the of original story interesting.
