When signs of life are found on one the moon of Jupiter called Europa private company Moffitt Industries have financed the manned mission to confirm the data. Two astronauts, Michael Forrest and Nathan Miller, have boarded the spacecraft and in hibernation they were suppose to travel all the way to Jupiter. Unfortunately accident forces them to break the hibernation and Forrest discovers that Miller is dead. Now all alone he has to move to a small part of the craft and fix the problems so he can at least return to Earth. Without any other options he has to survive alone 3 years of the journey.

In many ways the movie is similiar in style to Gravity that was released a year later - single man against the vast emptiness of Space. Both the movies are the lesson of humbleness for human kind - back on Earth we can do almost anything, but up there Space creates the rules of the game. The plot is very simple and the whole movie is very tranquil in images and the camerawork. Unfortunately the message behind the movie is rather hard to grasp - it seems that the solitude of the astronaut and some breathtaking images were the only goals for this project.
